plug x into the equation
3(y-1) = 2y -6
simplify the equation
3y - 3 = 2y -6
Subtract 2y from 3y and add 3 to -6
Y = -3
Plug -3 into your x equation (x= y-1)
the ordered pair is (-4,-3)
