f(x) = -5x + 1
f(-3) = ?
subtitute x = -3 to the equation of the function:
f(-3) = -5 · (-3) + 1 = 15 + 1 = 16

f(x) = −5x + 1
putting the value of x= -3 in above function
f(-3)=-5x-3+1
