a.1.56x10^4= 15,600 seconds
b.Paulo = 15600s/60min = 260 mins/1 hour = 4h 10 mins
Miguel = 4h 16min
Paulo ran the race in a shorter amount of time approximately 6 mins faster than Miguel

A) 1.56 x 10^4 = 15,600 sec

B)  Paulo =  15600s / 60minutes = 260 mins/1 hour = 4h 10 mins

so Miguel = 4h 16min

and Paulo ran the race in the shorter amount of time, about 6 minutes faster than Miguel did.
