Let present ages of father be x and of son is y years

x/y  = 7/2, 2x=7y, y=2x/7
(y+5)=37/100*(x+5)
(2x/7+5)=37/100*(x+5)
(2x+35)/7=(37x+185)/100
200x+3500=259x+1295
259x-250x=3500-1295
59x=2205
x=37.37 years
