After reading a book for english class, 100 students were asked whether or not they enjoyed it. Nine twenty-fifths of the class did not. How many students liked tje book?

Start with 100 students.  Subtract (9/25)(100) to find the number of students who liked the book.

100 - (9/25)(100) = 100 - 9(4) = 100 - 36 = 64 (answer).
