Problem:
Let x= (0.6)(0.60). When x is written out as a decimal, what is the sum of the first 15 digits after the decimal point?

LISTEN TO THIS PART:  (The 6 in 0.6 has a repeating sign on that ONE digit)

(The 60 in 0.60 has a repeating sign over BOTH digits)!!! THANKS!

Respuesta :

If you write the first 15 digits (not counting 0) of the first decimal, you get .666666666666666. The second is .606060606060606. If you add them together, you get 1.27 with a repeating bar over the 2 and 7.

Hope this helps!
